Eating disorders: when the relationship with food becomes harmful

June 2nd is marked as World Eating Disorders Awareness Day. These diseases can affect any individual, at any stage of life. Pathologies, contrary to popular belief, are not choices or lifestyles and are characterized by very irregular eating habits, which lead to health impairment and can lead to death. Among the most common are anorexia, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder. According to data from the World Health Organization - WHO, around 70 million people suffer from eating disorders worldwide. To talk about the subject, ABP TV this Tuesday, 2024 June 4th, welcomes psychiatrists Denise Cardoso and Mireille Coelho.
