The XXXIX Brazilian Congress of Psychiatry is coming and, therefore, ABP TV will start this special series. The topics that we will discuss in the programs starting today are part of the CBP program and you will have the opportunity to watch a preview of what awaits you at the biggest Psychiatry congress in Latin America! Covid-19 emerged in China at the end of 2019 and spread throughout the world, bringing countless losses in addition to the contamination by the virus itself and its serious consequences. Since then, the ABP has been warning about the risks of the pandemic in relation to mental health, promoting the development of mental disorders or the worsening of existing diagnoses - what we call the fourth wave of Covid-19. More than two years after the start of the pandemic, it can be said that the world we knew has changed. And how is the practice of Psychiatry in this new scenario? On today's ABP TV, we will discuss the theme "Psychiatry and Pandemic: impacts, lessons and new paradigms".
