Depressive and anxious symptoms in university students

According to the World Health Organization - WHO, approximately 1 billion people live with psychiatric disorders worldwide. Young people represent a significant portion of this number and the mental health of this group is a major public health concern not only in Brazil, but worldwide.
In the university population, the numbers are alarming. According to the "Global Student Survey" study, which surveyed 16,800 students aged 18 to 21, from 21 countries, Brazilian university students are those who have suffered the most impact on mental health with the Covid-19 pandemic. As disclosed by the survey, 76% of respondents reported that their mental health was impaired.
