Disruptive disorders are some behavioral changes considered difficult to diagnose and treat because of the difficulties with the differential diagnosis, difficulty in pointing out when the behavior is part of the normal cycle of child development, among others. When not properly treated, these types of behavioral disorders significantly compromise the development of the child or adolescent both at school and at home.
