Grief is not considered a disease, but it is a clinical condition, as it presents specific symptoms and signs, and has emotional, cognitive and behavioral characteristics. In essence, despite presenting sadness as symptoms, it differs from depression. The suffering caused by it can trigger mental illness in individuals who already have a predisposition. But how can this painful process affect the lives of children and adolescents? How can those responsible help children and adolescents in this grieving process?
