In a recent survey carried out in 2020 by the Health and Alcohol Information Center - CISA, it showed that alcohol consumption among women grows by about 4.25% annually. The consumption of other types of substances was also identified and this reality exposes these women to different types of abuse to maintain the addiction. Some of the main reasons for substance abuse are low self-esteem, emotional dependence, domestic violence, family breakdown, etc. How does chemical dependency affect women's interpersonal relationships? How can the family help? Is chemical dependency curable?
