Psychotherapy is a treatment that seeks to relieve symptoms and suffering and thus improve the quality of life of people suffering from mental illness. In psychotherapy, the psychiatrist seeks to understand the reasons that led the patient to seek him out and thus outline the best path to follow during treatment.
What happens during a psychotherapy session? Can psychotherapy be done on all patients? When is psychotherapy indicated?
