Escalas de avaliação da esquizofrenia validadas para uso no brasil: uma revisão sistemática

Resumo

A esquizofrenia é um transtorno mental grave e caracterizado pela heterogeneidade em seu quadro clínico. O objetivo deste artigo foi realizar uma revisão sistemática sobre as escalas de avaliação de sintomas utilizadas na esquizofrenia e validadas para uso no Brasil. Foi realizada uma busca em cinco diferentes bancos de dados eletrônicos. Dos 331 resumos acessados, nove artigos foram lidos na íntegra, sendo cinco deles incluídos na análise. As principais escalas identificadas são destinadas a avaliar várias dimensões clínicas. A escala mais amplamente estudada na literatura foi a Escala das Síndromes Positiva e Negativa [Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS)]. Conclui-se que importantes escalas de avaliação clínica na esquizofrenia já foram validadas para uso no Brasil, havendo ausência ainda de validações destinadas a avaliar isoladamente a dimensão negativa.
