Resumen

Los autores realizarón un estudio sobre el concepto de trastornos del espectro autista (TEA) y la relación de estos trastornos con el comportamiento criminal. La presencia de comorbilidad con trastorno por déficit de atención y trastorno de conducta parece aumentar el riesgo de estos comportamientos en pacientes con TEA. Ciertamente, una mejor comprensión y manejo de la psicopatología comórbida en el TEA, con tratamiento farmacológico y psicoterapéutico y orientación familiar, puede ayudar potencialmente en la prevención de comportamientos ofensivos en personas con este trastorno.
