Neurobiología del insight terapéutico: un modelo integrado de reconsolidación, error de predicción y procesamiento emocional implícito

Introducción: La psicoterapia produce cambios medibles, pero los sustratos neurobiológicos de los momentos específicos de cambio, los llamados insight events, permanecen insuficientemente investigados. Objetivo: Proponer un modelo integrado que articule tres mecanismos neurobiológicos, reconsolidación de la memoria emocional, error de predicción y procesamiento emocional implícito, como posibles sustratos del insight terapéutico. Método: Ensayo teórico narrativo (artículo de actualización), con selección bibliográfica narrativa y viñetas clínicas compuestas y anonimizadas, en diálogo con la literatura de neurociencia afectiva e investigación de proceso terapéutico. Resultados: El modelo propuesto define el insight terapéutico como la experiencia subjetiva consciente que emerge cuando un modelo emocional implícito previamente consolidado sufre una actualización significativa por la convergencia de los tres mecanismos. Se describen las redes neuronales involucradas y se articula el concepto de ventana de disponibilidad neurobiológica como sustrato del timing terapéutico. Los Sudden Gains se proponen como posible correlato clínico medible del modelo. Conclusión: Intervenciones clínicamente precisas y bien posicionadas temporalmente pueden operar simultáneamente en los sistemas neurobiológicos que sustentan el aprendizaje emocional, con implicaciones para la formación clínica y el desarrollo de protocolos de intervención breve.
