Apesar de que la depresión es una de las enfermedades más “tratables” en la medicina actual, únicamente en torno al 50% de los pacientes responden al primer tratamiento, y de estos, sólo el 50-70% alcanza la remisión. De este modo es fundamental la continua actualización y revisión sobre las diferentes estrategias terapéuticas disponibles y los resultados esperables en el abordaje de la depresión.
