Psychiatry consultation is the branch specialized in the interface between general medicine and psychiatry. The referral psychiatrist commonly works in a general hospital and assists the other specialties in the management of patients who have psychiatric manifestations during hospitalization. The performance of the referral psychiatrist is broad and complex, as it requires not only study and experience in psychiatry itself, but also basic knowledge in clinical settings. On today's ABP TV, we will continue the Special CBP series with the theme "Psychiatric consultation: what are the challenges?".
