Síntomas depresivos y ansiosos en el equipo de enfermería durante la pandemia de COVID-19: revisión sistemática

Resumen

Objetivo: Analizar la prevalencia de síntomas de ansiedad y depresión en profesionales de enfermería al atender a pacientes con COVID-19. Método: revisión sistemática, según recomendaciones PRISMA, con delimitación basada en la estratificación de componentes PICO. Búsqueda realizada en las bases de datos Pubmed, LILACS, Scielo y BVS y OMS-COVID-19, con estudios transversales originales, durante el período de enero de 2020 a enero de 2022. Los estudios seleccionados tuvieron su calidad metodológica evaluada mediante el Joanna Briggs Institute Checklist para Estudios Analíticos Transversales. Los hallazgos fueron verificados mediante distribuciones de frecuencia simples de las variables analizadas. Resultados: Se identificaron 1.500 estudios a través de las estrategias de búsqueda, de los cuales 22 fueron incluidos mediante los criterios de elegibilidad. La pandemia de COVID-19 tuvo un enorme impacto en la salud mental de los profesionales de enfermería, especialmente mujeres, de 30 años o más, casadas, enfermeras, con jornada laboral mayor a 30 horas semanales, con menos de 10 años de experiencia profesional efectiva y con servicio público. corbatas. Conclusión: Esta revisión sistemática encontró altos niveles de síntomas ansiosos y depresivos en el equipo de enfermería durante la pandemia de COVID-19. Estos datos apuntan a la necesidad de crear estrategias de atención de salud mental para esta población.
