Evidence-based medicine and women’s mental health

Increasingly, scientific research methods have been used to improve medical knowledge, nosological approaches and the reliability of treatments. Psychiatric medicine has been the subject of hundreds of clinical studies that seek to investigate therapeutic efficacy measures and diagnostic accuracy. Evidence-Based Medicine has provided and promoted the use of Biostatistical methodology for the improvement of clinical outcomes. In this sense, Meta-analyzes and Systematic Reviews has significantly contributed to Women’s Mental Health.
