Abstract

This study reviewed therapeutic and pharmacological interventions for the treatment of Cannabis use disorder. Review studies that directly addressed therapeutic, pharmacological, or psychosocial interventions for cannabis dependence were included. The search identified 430 articles, of which 11 were included in the review. The results highlighted findings on pharmacotherapy, mixed interventions, psychotherapies, and digital treatments. We conclude that while there are promising interventions, such as behavioral therapies and digital programs, more rigorous research is needed to effectively address problematic cannabis use.
