Breaking the cycle of violence: prevention and mental health

Brazil has shown a serious increase in violence indices over the last 30 years. This article discusses several data on violence, the role of motherhood in determining the way how the individual will relate to others socially and affectively in adulthood, as well as strategies and campaigns that could help revert the current scenario.
