Resumo

O artigo objetiva realizar uma revisão sobre o tema de parricídio e doença mental, e descrever o caso de um homem com transtorno psicótico que assassinou o genitor.  É discutida a imputabilidade penal e a importância do tratamento psiquiátrico para a prevenção desses casos.
