Dpression and breast cancer

Considering the large incidence of breast cancer in Brazil and the impact that diagnosis and treatment have in the lives of these women, psychiatrists have a very important role to play in this setting. A better adjustment to the disease, improved management of depression and improved adherence to treatment are some of the goals of oncopsychiatry.
